Mental affect due toTiktok and Instagram


 


The stuff we see on Instagram and TikTok can really mess with our feelings and make us feel bad about ourselves. People on these apps always seem to have perfect lives with lots of likes and followers, and we might feel like we're not good enough compared to them. We might spend a lot of time trying to get likes and followers to feel better about ourselves.


Using these apps too much can also make us feel anxious and stressed. We might worry about missing out on things or feel left out if we see others doing fun stuff.

Sometimes, spending too much time on Instagram and TikTok can make it hard to sleep or focus on other things. It can even make it tough to talk to people in real life.


To feel better, it's important to take breaks from these apps and do things that make us happy offline. We can also talk to someone we trust if we're feeling down. Setting limits on how much time we spend on social media can also help us feel better.
